free crochet runner pattern

ROYAL SOCIETY SIX CORD CORDICHET, Large Ball, Size 30: 2 balls of White or Ecru.
Steel Crochet Hook No. 10.
Runner measures about 12 1\2 x 23 inches.

Make a chain 16 inches long (12 ch sts to 1 inch). 1st row: Dc in 8th ch from hook, dc in next 6 ch, (ch 2, skip 2 ch, dc in next 7 ch) 17 times; ch 2, skip 2 ch, dc in next ch. Cut off remaining chain. Ch 5, turn.
2nd row: 2 d tr in next sp, * d tr in next dc, skip 5 dc, tr tr in next dc, ch 3, tr tr in same dc as last d tr-a cross made-d tr in same dc as 1st tr tr of cross, 2 d tr in sp. Repeat from * across, ending with 2 d tr in last sp, d tr in 3rd st of turning chain. Ch 5, turn.
3rd row: * Skip 2 d tr, dc in next d tr, dc in tr tr, 3 dc in sp, dc in tr tr, dc in d tr, ch 2. Repeat from * across, ending with ch 2, dc in top of turning chain. Ch 5, turn.
4th to 7th rows incl: Repeat 2nd and 3rd rows alternately.
8th row: 2 d tr in next sp, (d tr in next dc, make a cross, d tr in same dc as 1st tr tr of cross, 2 d tr in sp) 3 times; (d tr in next 7 dc, 2 d tr in next sp) 12 times; (d tr in next dc, make a cross, d tr in same dc as 1st tr tr of cross, 2 d tr in sp) 3 times; d tr in top of turning chain. Ch 5, turn.
9th row: (Skip 2 d tr, dc in next d tr, dc in tr tr, 3 dc in sp, dc in tr tr, dc in d tr, ch 2) 3 times; (skip 2 d tr, dc in next 7 d tr, ch 2) 12 times; (skip 2 d tr, dc in next d tr, dc in tr tr, 3 dc in sp, dc in tr tr, dc in d tr, ch 2) 3 times; dc in to of turning chain Ch 5, turn.
10th row: 2 d tr in sp, (d tr in next dc, make a cross, d tr in same dc as 1st tr tr of cross, 2 d tr in sp) 3 times; d tr in 7 dc, 2 d tr in next sp, (d tr in next dc, make a cross, d tr in same dc as 1st tr tr of cross, 2 d tr in sp) 10 times; d tr in 7 dc, 2 d tr in next sp, (d tr in next dc, make a cross, d tr in same dc as 1st tr tr of cross, 2 d tr in sp) 3 times; d tr in top of turning chain. Ch 5, turn.
12th to 73rd rows incl: Repeat l0th and 11th rows alternately.
74th and 75th rows: Repeat 8th and 9th rows.
76th to 81st rows incl: Repeat 2nd and 3rd alternately.

EDGING . . . 1st rnd: Ch 5, 7 d tr in corner sp, then work a rnd of d tr around all edges, making 15 d tr in each corner and ending with 7 d tr in 1st corner. Join with sl st in top of ch-5.
2nd rnd: Ch 1, sc in each d tr around, making 3 sc in center d tr of each corner. Join and break off.
