Baby's Six-Piece Set No. 6014

The picture didn't come out very well for some reason. Trust me, this is very nice. It's edged with two rows of shells.
MATERIALS: Knitting worsted, 6-4oz. skeins. Sport yarn, 4-2oz. balls. Crochet hooks, U.S. No. 4 and No 2.
CARRIAGE COVER: With No. 4 hook and knitting worsted, ch 110.
Row 1: Work 1 sc in 5th ch from hook *, ch 2, skip 2 ch, 1 sc in next ch; repeat from * to end of ch, ch 2, turn.
Row 2: Work 3 dc in each ch 2 sp across row, ch 2, turn.
Row 3: 1 sc between 3rd and 4th dc, * ch 2, 1 sc between next 3rd and 4th dc; repeat from * ending with 1 sc in last dc, ch 2, turn. Repeat rows 2 and 3 until piece measures 24 inches.
BORDER: Work 6 rows of sc around entire cover, working 3 sc in each corner.
EDGING: Row 1: Work 1 sc in 1st st, *, skip 2 sts, 6 tr in next st, skip 2 sts, 1 sc in next st; repeat from * around entire cover, ending with 1 sc.
Row 2: Sl st to center of shell. Work * 6 tr in sc, 1 sc in center of shell; repeat from * around entire cover. Fasten off. With right side facing you, work 1 row of shells to 1st row of sc of border around entire cover. Fasten off.
PILLOW: With No. 4 hook and knitting worsted, ch 59. work pattern for 9 inches. Border and edging same as cover.
SACQUE: With No. 2 hook and sport yarn, ch 48. Work 9 rows of dc. On next row work over 14 sts, increasing 1 st at neck edge each row for 9 rows. Fasten off. Omit 20 sts for back of neck, attach yarn, and work other side to correspond. Join front and back of yoke at underarm with a ch of 8. Starting at left front, work back and forth in pattern as given for cover for 8 inches. Fasten off.
SLEEVES: Starting at center of underarm ch, work back and forth in pattern for 6 inches. Work 6 rows of sc for cuff. Work 1 row of picots around all edges of sacque and cuffs. Sew sleeve seams.
CAP: With No. 2 hook and sport yarn, ch 23. Work back and forth in sc until piec measures 4 1/2 inches. Work pattern around 3 sides of this square for 4 inches. then work 5 rows of sc. Work 1 row of sc on neck edge, skipping every 3rd st. Four rows of sc, st for st, and fasten off.
BOOTIES: With No. 2 hook and sport yarn, ch 9. Work sc for 8 rows. Ch 24, join to beg of last row. Work 8 rows of sc around 3 sides of square and the 24 ch. Fasten off. Sew together on bottom. Starting at center of back on top of boot, work back and forth in pattern for 3 inches. 1 row of picots, and fasten off. Make a loose ch 14 inches long and lace thru as illustrated. Trim with tassels at each end.
